Popup remains and block some part of the image to be captured

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Click on browser action icon.
2.Popup appears.
3.Click on Capture Screen Region.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected popup disappears before start to select the ROI
Instead the popup remains and is captured if selected hides a screen region.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WXPSP3 
Chrome14.0.835.186 m 
Screen Capture (by Google) - Version: 5.0.3
