image vanishes from mosaic when modified #204

it's not doing this consistently, have done this with others in the mosaic w/o issue. i renamed an image, then altered the rectification to improve alignment and cropped it. it has vanished completely from the mosaic it is included in. i tried restarting the browser, then tried switching browser (from Firefox to Safari). also tried removing the image from the mosaic and re-adding it. no change. image: https://mapwarper.net/maps/44056 mosaic: https://mapwarper.net/layers/1186#Show_tab

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the issue.

both maps have been set to "not a map". This setting is used for things like title plates, or images in atlases and for things which in a collection of maps a user would not want to include in a mosaic. Another "map type" setting is for Index or Overview pages. If you set them to "map" and possibly re-rectify it, then they should re-appear. (not got detailed access to the code at the moment but I think any user can change this, or maybe just the owner or an admin)

The map type drop down is on the 3rd line below the title and description and next to the link "download kml

If it works, feel free to close the issue also

tried it. the dropdown for is/is not a map does not seem to work properly. it always comes up "Is a map" and seem impossible to update once the mistake is made.

Okay, there appears to be an error when changing the map type of a map within the list on the mosaic.

You can, however, see and change the map type with no errors on an individual map page.

I was able to change the map type to "is map" for the maps given above. Are they in the correct position and in the mosaic now?
