Long message lists increase width of message container #5

When there are enough messages to scroll, the width of the message container increases by about 8px... not sure why

EDIT: maybe it's not that there are enough to scroll.. because sending a bunch of messages in a convo that hadn't previously scrolled doesn't trigger the effect.
