1) All of them are mandatory, but for gender, sexuality, height, hometown, ethnicity, religion, politics, have children and want children, there should be an option to select "Prefer not to answer". As for the invalid input the message is up to you. A simple "Please insert a valid value" can suffice for now, but I dont see many invalid inputs if most are select from options. Another one for empty selections could simply be "Please select at least one option" 2) Follow what hinge has for now 3) Same as the above 4) Same as the above and no dont match sexuality and gender - people are complicated 5) I was thinking a scrolling mechanism but manual is fine too - I would split the box into ft and inches then to make it look nicer and for easier validation 6) Many, follow hinge 7) No, it should be options based - again follow hinge for religion options 8) Same as Q2 9) I'm not sure what this q is referring to. Please explain - but if you mean specifying language/ style then no? The app should prompt a key board when its needed - but for the "basics detail page", not much should use a keyboard - only height if u plan to change it to manual.
I'll also add that age needs to be above 18 to continue using the app. So just add that for verfication

Questions:
Which fields are mandatory, which are optional? How do we give feedback for invalid inputs?
How many pronouns are there?
How many genders are there?
How many sexualities are there? Are we basing the matching on Sexuality and gender identity?
Height: I think we should do manual input for height.
How many languages are there?
Do we allow people enter their own religions?
What should we write for Political Beliefs?
keyboard: do we specify keyboard at all?
