💄 Add components to design library

🎯 Goal: Finalize the design library to create a robust, consistent, and scalable framework for design and development. This includes aligning the design system with the existing implementation and adding missing components for improved efficiency and usability.

🩸 Pain Points:

• Inconsistencies: Missing components and unclear guidelines lead to inefficiencies in the design process and misalignment across projects.
• Lack of Documentation: Without proper documentation, developers and designers struggle to maintain consistency.
• Unoptimized Tailwind Configuration: The existing tailwind.config.js file lacks full alignment with the design system.

💡 Solution:

• Review the Existing System:
  • Audit and align the current tailwind.config.js file with the design system.
  • Reverse-engineer components on the live site and map them to the design system.
• Add and Document Missing Components:
  • Identify, design, and document new components needed for the design library.
  • Ensure components include necessary states (e.g., hover, active, disabled) and are simple to use.
• Create a Comprehensive Style Guide:
  • Document utilities, components, and guidelines to streamline implementation and maintain consistency.

✅ Acceptance Criteria

• Tailwind Alignment:
  • All utilities in tailwind.config.js (e.g., spacing, colors, typography) are documented and aligned with the design system.
  • Misalignments between the Tailwind configuration and the design system are identified and flagged for future fixes.
• Components and Documentation:
  • Missing components are identified, designed, and added to the design system.
  • Components have required states and variations (e.g., hover, active, disabled).
  • Documentation includes usage examples for all components and utilities.
• Style Guide Completion:
  • A comprehensive style guide is created and approved by the team.
  • The guide includes mappings between Tailwind utilities and the design system.

📝 Additional Notes

• Focus on high-priority components like buttons, inputs, modals, and typography first.
• Ensure all updates are non-breaking and compatible with the live site.
