Nova theme by Trevor D. Miller at:

https://trevordmiller.com/projects/nova

Was this generated using one of the base16 builders? It doesn't look like this scheme is actually in the main scheme repo.

There's more information included here: https://github.com/chriskempson/base16-schemes-source

Once it's submitted upstream, I'd be happy to include the built version here.

No, this was not generated using a base16 builder. I read the base16 styling guidelines at:

https://github.com/chriskempson/base16/blob/master/styling.md

Next, I went through a process of trial and error changing various colors while looking at various programming langues using the vim and Visual Studio Code nova themes.

This repo only has the schemes which were submitted upstream. If you submit your scheme there, I'd be happy to include the built version here.

Part of the huge advantage of base16 is that it can be used to generate schemes for a ton of different editors... this is made possible by the scheme repos. :)

Thank you. I was under the wrong impression. Can you provide a link to this upstream repo? So the base16-black-metal themes are in this upstream repo?

belak commented 5 years ago

There's some more information here: https://github.com/chriskempson/base16#scheme-repositories

As an example, the black-metal themes are included here: https://github.com/chriskempson/base16-schemes-source/blob/3feefcf686a2f3969dabdb3570e6ede8e4af8395/list.yaml#L4

Which links to the main metal themes here: https://github.com/metalelf0/base16-black-metal-scheme

I'd love to see these submitted upstream, but I'd like to not deviate from that. If you'd like help submitting them to the main repos, I can offer guidance. After that I'll add them here.
