AA GB 75th Anniversary Convention 10th to 12th June 2022 at Leeds Arena. Celebrating 75 years of Alcoholics Anonymous in Great Britain.

About this Event

Our convention will be a time for AA members, from GB and beyond, members of our sister fellowships, family and visitors to celebrate 75 years of AA at this event with large meetings being held in the large theatre style stadium. Smaller meetings and activities will take place throughout the weekend within the arena complex.prior and during the convention There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in service prior and during the convention. Children aged 12 or under at the time of the event are free, however they do need to be registered.

Up-to 10 registrations can be made in a single checkout.

The cost of registration is for admittance to the Convention and a Convention Goody bag only and does not include food, drinks or accommodation.

During checkout you will be asked to provide how you would like your name to be listed on your convention badge, badges and goody bags will be available for collection when you arrive at the convention.

Badges will need to be worn at times in the convention venue.

We ask that all who attend our convention observe our AA anonymity guidlines.

"There may be some here who are not familiar with our tradition of personal anonymity at the public level: 'Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press radio and films.' Thus, we respectfully ask that no AA speaker -- or any AA member -- is identified by full name and that no photograph is published or broadcast in reports of our meetings. This includes taking photographs and/or videos at convention social events (as well as the meetings) and publishing on social media. The assurance of anonymity is essential in our effort to help other problem drinkers who may wish to share our recovery program with us, and our Tradition of anonymity reminds us that AA principles come before personalities."
