Implement Onboarding Workflow

User stories:

1. As an organizer, I want to define a naming scheme for submissions in a shared task, so that I can improve the unified presentation style of the shared tasks outcome.

2. As an organizer, I dont want to assigning people to teams for their submission, so that I save time.

3. As an organizer, I want to impose limits on the number of submissions of each team, so that I save (compute, annotation) resources (and so that a competition fairness is maintained)*.

   • *Competition fairness is secondary to scientific progress

4. As an organizer, I want to outsource the workload of onboarding the user, so that I save time.

5. As a user, I want to onboard fast, so that I save time.

6. As a user/team, I want maximize the resources available to me, so that I can make the most progress.

7. As a user/team, I want to be visible as user/team of a shared task (if my results are competitive), so that I gain reputation.

8. As a user/team, I want to be anonymous as user/team during a shared task (especially if my results are bad), so that I dont lose reputation.

Bei Task-Konfiguration:

• Für einen Task ist definiert, welche Team-Namen erlaubt sind (oder ist offen)

• Nutzer kommt auf Task seite:

  • Leaderboard wird angezeigt
  • Existierende Teams werden in Liste angezeigt
  • in jeder Zeile ein "Join Group" button
  • Fall 1: Er ist in passender Gruppe:
  • Alles gut
  • Fall 2: Ich bin in keiner Gruppe:

  • Ich sehe einen Button "I work alone or in a new team".

    • "Erzeuge neue Team":

    • TIRA lädt die Menge der erlaubten Team-Namen, ohne denen, die bereits vergeben sind.

    • Der Nutzer füllt das Registration Formular aus, in dem steht was der Shared Task Organizer wissen möchte

    • Dabei wählt er eines der Team-Namen aus

    • Form ist ausgefüllt => klickt auf register

    • Im Backend:

      • Formulardaten werden abgespeichert
      • Gruppe in Discourse wird angelegt (das ist schon da)
      • User wird owner der Gruppe (das ist schon da)

    • "I work alone" is synonym for "Erzeuge neue Gruppe"

Sollen wir auf dauer diese Discourse-spezifischen Webseiten extrahieren in ein neues Discord unabhängiges Frontend auslagern

We additionally allow that unregistered people can register. In all cases, an invitation should be sent to the e-mail

First e-mail:

• To complete the registration:
  • create an account on TIRA and Login
  • enter the shared task
