  1. Integrated the library into the protocol
  2. changed the output to pdf_document and added PIF&ICF after the references
  3. tried to link the citations using output: bookdown. The problem that arose here is it started adding the contents before H1. If that is not fine I can remove the bookdown option to get a normal output.

Please replace PIS_ICF.tex with PIS_ICF.md and add a script that generates the tex and merge the protocol with the PIS_ICF.
