Python, PHP, Perl bindings not available under Ubuntu #104

Appearently the Ubuntu Lucid Lynx repository doesn't have Python, Perl or PHP 
bindings in it. Fedora branch has all of them :)

Just recompile Ubuntu packages with following build dependencies:

apt-get install libperl-dev python-dev php5-dev

I'm planning to move Ubuntu package building over to 
https://launchpad.net/~esteid ppa so that the build system is more transparent 
and people could collaborate. Would you be interested in helping out with 
properly packaging up the bindings?

Yeah sure,

where can I find information (debian/rules etc) about how the Ubuntu packages 
are currently built?
