"SEBHack error: TypeError: e is null" instead of PIN2 dialog in SEB #146

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Login/PIN1 to SEB went as usual, trying to sign a transaction resulted in the
error message described above. Tried Swedbank, the signing applet hung with a
twirling circle displayed instead of the PIN2 dialog. Last successful use was a
couple of days ago in SEB, some weeks ago in Swedbank.

Attempted on Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 64bit, Firefox 3.6.13, Sun Java 1.6.0.22

Problem seems to be in Firefox.
3.6.12 - works
3.6.13 - error
3.6.14 - error
3.6.15 - error
4.0 - works
Easy fix for me was to jump back to Firefox 3.6.12

Firefox 4.0 beta12 is affected too. Ubuntu 10.10 x64, latest esteid packages.
Firefox 4.0 installed from ubuntu-mozilla-daily ppa.

I can confirm this on Debian Squeeze with following:

ii  libdigidoc2                          2.7.0-0~nightly1+svn3575+6.0      old
digidoc library
ii  libdigidocpp0                        0.3.0-0~nightly2+svn3744+6.0      BDoc
C++ library
ii  qdigidoc                             0.4.0-0~nightly3+svn3722+6.0      Qt
based Digidoc client
ii  iceweasel                            3.5.16-4                          Web
browser based on Firefox

Switching from ActiveX to Java applet in SEB settings menu fixed the problem :)

I commented out loading of sebhack.js in the plugin file
/chrome/content/convertLegacy.js and now signing in seb works with setting on
"ActiveX/plugin".
There is a warning message along the lines of "multiple certificates found,
using first", but signing works

Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the delay.

I believe I've fixed it in svn r3904 and r3905.
