[qesteidutil] Starts with blank non functional window on Ubuntu Oneiric (and Debian Unstable) #169

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run qesteidutil

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect functioning application, but see blank window. It seems that some kind 
of GUI elements are hidden into the window, because when I move mouse around in 
the window, the cursor changes shape in some areas. Clicking here and there 
does nothing though.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.3.0-0esteid2~oneiric1 from 
https://launchpad.net/~boamaod/+archive/esteid-test on Ubuntu Oneiric Beta 2

Please provide any additional information below.

Mihkel told on IRC that the same happens on Debian Sid
