Or is there a recommended successor? This project came as "the" recommended one for local machine scala dataframes by a UK professor two years ago .. so it would be of interest: https://darrenjw.wordpress.com/2015/08/21/data-frames-and-tables-in-scala/

Hi! I'm not actively maintaining this project anymore. I'd probably take a look at Frameless, which runs on top of Spark, and see if that'll work.

on top of spark .. well i gave a talk on spark DataFrame's in 2015 .. so i kinda know about that already . I need a local version. Looks like pandas/python it is..
