app feature request #83

  1. Make it so it has an option (i.e. checkbox) so when hovering over an icon it displays the app name
  2. Make it so we can add folders locations/files as well (not just exe/ shortcuts) (yes one could make a shortcut and then add but at the end of the day that's time consuming)

  1. That is a great idea and I may implement it soon.
  2. You can already do this through the drag and drop feature of taskbar-groups. The reason why there isn't a physical implementation because we want to preserve the amount of space we have currently and we wouldn't want to add any un-necesary boxes. Perhaps a split box dialogue for both files/folders may come soon but I am not sure atm.

  1. neet
  2. i tested the drag and drop and will say the app hates it when it comes from the desktop (it might just be my download folder shortcut, dou it works fine if it comes from file manager so idk)

sudo new request/ question: Is it possible to move the scrollbar inside the box instead of the whole window?

Basically, If you're in the main screen only a scrollbar will appear underneath taskbar group and on top of add new (or bellos add new) so the side panel won't be stretched out
And in the edit group a scroll could appear in the app list so user doesn't have to scrool to add new

Request #1 is a GREAT request, I had the same but thought I'd check before making the same suggestion. One day I hope this is how Windows works or this program has the features Windows JumpLists has, it is a GREAT idea (this program).

Request 2 also good but #1 I would like much more.

Another thing I'd love to have is the option to rename the file name within the program, for example, BitDefender is bdagent.exe so it would be great to have the option to rename it inside the program. It'd also likely showup as bdagent.exe if the suggestion to have the name show when hovering so that'd be part of why I'd like to rename it, also makes it easier to know exactly what's what.
