The next feature I want to see is the different customizables that the ferret can get! It would be really cool to see right off the bat the items that you can get by walking over to that location. For example, maybe place a new shirt like 100 ft away from the ferret.
I’m excited to see what kind of clothes you guys have for the ferret. Are they going to be related to the type of terrain it is at? Maybe one account can have multiple ferrets and try to get them all to be stylish or something. I think that it would be fun to even trade clothes with other ferrets.
This app is a fun idea! I think that the feature I'd like to see more of is the heat map of places the ferret has been. I'd want to be able to look back after using the app for a while and see all the adventures I went on. Another cool feature that I'd like to see worked on is the placement of virtual prizes on the map for users to go to and collect.
The next feature I want to see is having an interface that shows your customized ferret and an inventory of collected items. It would be really cool to see the grass being "uncovered" when the user explored a new region.
Feedback from YellowCow (A5):
Connie: I like ferret! It's very cute. My one thing that I wish there was was the ability to actually see the trails you've made. I also would like to see some other pages that you plan to have even if there isn't much functionality yet. in addition I'd like to see a compass integrated in so users can orient themselves in the map.
Chang: I like the avatar idea. It's cool to see something like that on the map. The one thing that I wish to see for the next milestone is to implement the part where you uncover the overlay of the map.
Tony: The next feature I want to see in the app is a working implementation of map overlay. Currently, the app only show a sample of unexplored map. It would be nice if in the next iteration, the app has a sample datasets that can be shown on the map. This allows tester to see how the app can be entertaining. The team also mentioned other parts of interfaces to be implemented such as a profile bar and item discovery feature. A simple implementation of these feature in the next iteration can add a lot of interactivity to the app.
Jorenne: I really like this idea because customization is something I really enjoy. The next feature I want to see is the customization UI, since that's the main purpose of exploring. I'm interested in how the graphics would look for this app because it sounds like a really cute idea, and lots of people really enjoy cute little animal games. I would also like to maybe see some type of walking animation on the ferret as you uncover parts of the map. I would suggest that the more difficult or uncommon areas would have rarer items (e.g. give the ferret a car!) Excited to see the final result :))
