Horizontal misalignment of term tab (Ubuntu 14.04 x86_64)

Steps to re-create:

• Crtl-Alt-. to open new term tab on right hand side
• Term tab (labelled "bash") is not horizontally aligned with other tabs
• Corrected by resizing window.
