Lagging main tabs #258

The main tabs' context menus lag when trying to show / hide while utilising the cpu a bit more than expected. Although the tabs on the right don't have the same problem, but the cpu utilisation is a bit lower (about 3% on average).

This is no longer an issue. Not sure why. Closing for now.
