I've tried a few ways to get in touch with you, but I have a question I believe you could help me with. Sorry for posting this as an issue.
I've been working with the University of Colorado on a mapping application and I've run into a problem I can't figure out. If I measure the distance between all GPS points in a file, I get the distance calculated by whatever program I'm using (MapMyRide, Google Earth, etc.), but if I want to know that point at a certain distance from the start on the same route via the same points, I can be as much as 2km off. Can you shed some light here for me? I've asked a lot of people and can't find an answer. My email is wilu1906@colorado.edu. Thank you.
