Look into being able to use SMB or NFS and connecting the network shared folder GFS/.

This seems like a reasonable step to take forward as it allows many computers to point to the GFS/ shared folder in order to reduce the amount of hard drive space on local machines. Use of symlinks are highly encouraged.
