Plot discharge rate #3

Discharge rate must be plotted using Jean's Data.

WK-Kz commented 5 years ago

Discharge rates have been able to be outputted.

Rates are located in the frxst_pts_out.txt in the simulation directory. From the WRF Hydro Technical documentation,

The “frxst_pts_out” option in the hydro.namelist will activate this output.
The forecast points text file is a unique output file that distills modeled streamflow and stage down to a
simple text file with the following columns:
● column 1 : time (in seconds) into simulation
● column 2 : date and time as YYYY-MM-DD_HH:MM:SS
● column 3 : station number index (same as feature_id in netCDF files)
● column 4 : station longitude (in decimal degrees)
● column 5 : station latitude (in decimal degrees)
● column 6 : streamflow discharge (in cubic meters per second)
● column 7 : streamflow discharge (in cubic feet per second)
● column 8 : flow depth/river stage (in meters above channel bottom)

frxst_pts_out.txt located in ~/Desktop/kendall_compile_log

0p25 data was tested, need to attempt other pressure levels as well

Need to look into the format of the data (TSV, CSV...) and write a reformatting script if necessary.
