Discard superfluous splash-screen (or make optional)

When Twim is started, it presents a Twim splash-screen, which waits for user 
input before going 
away and presenting the main interface.

When you're on the move, possibly in a hurry, you want to get directly to your 
timeline. Screens like 
this are annoying. If it must be kept, can it at least be optional, so that 
users can disable it if they 
don't want to see it each time they load Twim?

Using version 1.14 on Sony Ericsson K610i.
