Update the website theme? #54

We're currently using the Solo theme, which was deprecated in 2017 in favor of Duo by the same author.

Are we planning on updating to a new theme, like Duo, anytime soon? Or will we just keep Solo?

/cc @ostera I think

I, for one, would be fine with a migration from Solo to Duo. Most likely we won't have to make any changes in the content itself, so the migration should be pretty painless.

I suspect Solo was picked because it uses a monospaced font by default. If that's the case, we might still use the Duo theme and customize the font. I'd be happy to help out with that customization if we decide to go down that route.

That said, the current theme is working without issues, so there's no pressing reason to migrate just because. We could certainly keep it indefinitely as long as it doesn't cause any problems.

I agree with this sentiment. This is just a simple static website. I don't think we've ever had a need to change anything or encountered a "bug" or anything. That being said, I don't see any problems with having a new theme too.

I'm closing this issue, because you guys raise good points and I didn't notice but the GitHub repo itself is actually archived as well. I don't think there's any need to change the theme.
