Requiring authentication for the rest api #86

Hi,

I may be missing something obvious, but is there configurable authentication for the rest api or do we need to roll our own?

Correct, there's no configurable authentication. Curious to hear what you end up doing!

Closing since there's no action items .. feel free to continue conversation on the issue though.
