This library (Shogun ML) is actually quite impressive and probably brings quite a bit to consider.

Would be good to see how the plan compares and in particular

if they can deal with distributed systems nicely
if it's "easy to use" and has a nice interface
if it can deal with massive datasets

Also they use this benchmark

I think @fkiraly your opinion here would be quite useful.

I didn't directly see generic MetaLearning or Hyperparameter tuning
Their API is quite hard to browse
It may be quite efficient for small data but I don't know how it scales or whether it can deal with multi-threads + multi processes.

Ps: I think, eventually, we'll have to make sure of how this project positions itself with existing other packages and to be able to do a big table "we do this, they don't do that"!
