The distribution zips do not include a root directory #10

This is a matter of preference: some people would rather have the ability to 
specify the output directory themselves.

Let's let the community decide what they like best! Please comment on this 
issue with your opinion, hopefully explaining your rationale.

This has been implemented for Prudence 1.1.1.

After further though, it seems to me that although the extra directory would be 
a bit troublesome for sysadmins who want to install Prudence in the right 
place, they have the skills to be able to do so, whereas people who are 
entirely uncomfortable with .zip (who are these developers???) would appreciate 
the work being done for them.

If the community does not like this solution, it would be trivial to switch 
back (although it would affect stability of deployment scripts).

Another note:

Apparently OS X's Safari automatically opens downloaded zip files into the 
download directory! Another reason why it's a good idea to have a root 
directory.
