• This week was spent primarily planning out a timeline on how to best integrate the functionality requirements for our software.
• Introduction to Ruby through codeacademy.com
• https://www.railstutorial.org/book/_single-page for research on learning Ruby on Rails which will be needed to create the server.

• Most of this week was spent on fixing issues with Android Studio and more specifically on Gradle within Android Studio.
• Continuation with the tutorial for Ruby on Rails using https://www.railstutorial.org/book/_single-page
• Added the Group class.
• Added the Greek_Group class which which inherits from the Group class.
• Worked as a group for the UML Diagram.

• Continuation with the tutorial for Ruby on Rails using https://www.railstutorial.org/book/_single-page Specifically this week, I completed chapter 1 and up to chapter 2 section 3 which included the hello_app, practice with using git via the terminal, and starting the toy_app tutorial.
• A lot of time this week was spent as a group to fix the complications we have in our Gradle build within Android Studio.
• Learned how to change views and which view is being displayed in the emulator.

• Used Ruby on Rails tutorial: https://www.railstutorial.org/book/_single-page to start putting together the server and database. The code is located in the repository: https://github.com/tlyounkins/CampUsAppServer
• Added controller classes to the server, such as User controller, session controller, etc.
• "Remember Me" login capabilities from tutorial
• Database and test database configuration

• Continued the Ruby on Rails tutorial.
• Continued working on the database and server using ruby on rails.
• Worked with the group to fix and update the database schema.

This week was spent focusing on the server and database for each of the following: Server repository: https://github.com/tlyounkins/CampUsAppServer

• Debugging, ensuring all tests pass.
• Added group model class, group controller, etc.
• Added to tests (fixtures, assertions)
• Server allows for editing of user information
• Database and server is functional for the user, added the remainder of the user's fields.

• started setting up account activation via generated email
• adding micro posts
• making sure tests pass, debugging
• implementing followers

• set up a Heroku account and Amazon account for the server

• Continued with Heroku configuration for the server and database
• Continued working on the event classes in the server.

• Finished Heroku configuration.

• Modified fixtures and tests in the server.
• Added a timestamp column to the private_messages table in the database.
• Added schools to the users and groups tables in the database.
