No connection to rTorrent

Using dedicated with a friend, intalled 2 users and rutorrent with autodl-irssi 
auto downloader, ftp, webui. Altered config in 
/var/rutorrent/rutorrent/conf/users/myusername/ to solve hdd plugin error (it 
shows wrong size info). HDD plugin shows correctly but now i get "No connection 
to rTorrent. Check if it is really running. Check $scgi_port and $scgi_host 
settings in config.php and scgi_port in rTorrent configuration file." error but 
my mate can use rutorrent. I altared the 25th line in config.php "$topDirectory 
= '/'; to solve hdd plugin problem. I took it back, still same problem.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What environment are you using?
1. My ruTorrent version is 3.4
2. My rTorrent version is 0.8.9
3. I use web-server Apache it version is ? on OS Ubuntu 11.10
4. I use browser Chrome it version is latest on OS Win7-64

Are some errors present in the web-server log?

Are some errors present in the browser error console?
