Instagram camera won't work.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When I open, instagram app to take a picture, camera screen goes black. Shot to 
take a picture, and this one appears on left top corner with a green sound

What version of aospX are you using? And when did the issue first start?

MR1, and before BR7 Instagram Camera never work

Please list the kernel version under Settings->About phone

2.6.35.14-aospx mint chocolate

Does the issue happen after a full wipe and without any data restored?

Never work, since I switch to BR7/Mr1 did full wipe, clean instalation

You can go to settings in Instagram, then Camera settings and uncheck Use 
Instagram Advanced Camera and it will fix this. The problem is that we have to 
force preview with our CameraHal ...so without having source to whatever 3rd 
party app there's not much we can do ATM... this is why it works with stock 
camera app, since we have to modify source. So until someone comes along and  
fixes our camerahal , there will be issues with 3rd party apps. 

I've merged this into the existing ticket for Camera/Video issue
