Softbank Japan APN not set in etc/apns-conf.xml #13

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install on a Softbank Japan "001HT" (their name for the Desire HD)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
APN settings do not work (no mobile data available) because the APN is not in
the config file

What version of the product are you using?
AR16

Please provide logcat ouput and any additional information below.
I dug the correct APN settings out of my old
data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db, and they match the
ones here:
http://exabugs.blog50.fc2.com/blog-entry-12.html
I added those settings to this list, which seems fairly complete:
https://docs.google.com/Edit?docid=0AZNbAmKkmakoZGZxZHNwMnpfMjJkaHg3ejN3eg

Putting that into my /system/etc/apns-conf.xml fixed the problem.

Otherwise, very happy with the ROM, thanks for all the hard work!

I should add, I still had to add all the same settings in Settings->Mobile
networks->Access Point Names, but that just seems to be an oddity about the way
the Android APN settings work.

Verified, AR17 worked out of the box.

Thanks again!
