Can someone verify if this issue still exists in latest BR2?

Seems as if its still an issue on my device. Tested the music and youtube apps
- they seem to play sound only through the headphones when plugged in.
Notifications (and things like the beep when the volume buttons are pressed)
seem to come out of both the headphones and the phone.
Using BR2.

Seems this same issue is happening on CM as well...

Since our audio sources are based on CMs, once they fix the issue then it
should work for us as well. Ill continue looking into it myself, but if they
get it fixed first then ill add the changes.

This happens even with the stock 2.3 of HTC.

I was starting to wonder if this was default behavior, anyone else able to
verify?

Existz, when I saw this issue posted, I thought it was a default behavior as
well. I remember falling asleep with my headphones on back in the GB days and
still waking up to my alarm thinking "damn thats convenient"

Seems to be confirmed default behavior on Nexus 7 as well, so this is
intentional.

As of right now im going to mark this one 'Wont Fix' since it seems to be
default behavior (with stock Sense and on other AOSP devices as well).
