audio hissing noise with headphones on

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.plug in headphones
2.set to phone to vibrate for clarity
3.tap on app drawer button 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using?
BR3

Have you performed a full wipe/factory reset? (If not, then do so)
Yes

Inspire4G or DesireHD? (If Inspire, did you flash Inspiremod?)
Yes, flashed inspire mod for my Inspire

Please provide logcat ouput and any additional information below.
(logs required or I will discard the ticket.)

I found that by un-checking Touch Sounds the static hissing noise goes away

I don't have this issue running BR6, even with Touch Sounds enabled.
