Add literary reference to DESCRIPTION #38

In the last release cycle, reviewers asked us to add a literary reference to the package description. Specifically, this would be added to the following lines:

They should also include the DOI of such reference, in the <doi:[number]> format.

Note to self: after merging, cherry-pick this to the local hotfix-2.0.3 branch so it's included in the next release (instead of waiting for the develop version to be released).
