Emoji pictogram license is missing #3

As you say, the emoji pictograms distributed in your repository are taken from 'Apple Color Emoji.ttf'. However, Apple has not given any general license for this font. Please add your license. update: fixed the link

Interesting. I'm not sure what license to use, especially as there is no upstream license. I generally use MIT, but in this case maybe CC is more applicable.

Hmm - IANAL, but I think that when there is no upstream license this means that you cannot legally distribute parts of this font. I'd agree that it's a pity, though.
