This is related to beta version of DVR so maybe not all scripting features are enabled.

auto-subs script does not work with newest 19.0b1 beta version of DVR - it does not display any text+ templates in the select component.

Can confirm I am also having this issue

I think this fixed this issue, try using the script from the fork for a fast fix. https://github.com/tmoroney/auto-subs/pull/36
