ideas and China social #27

Great plugin, it's fantastic. Thank you for sharing it. I have some ideas for you possibly.

  1. Integrate some Asia social networks as well. RenRen and Weibo are two very large ones in China. http://renren-inc.com/en/ http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/pda/2011/jul/15/weibo-twitter-china
  2. With all these social networks but no one really wants them all at the same time, it would be cool to have an online builder like Twitter Bootstrap has which lets the user pick what he wants. I know this is deluxe but cool still. http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/download.html

Cool, thanks I'll investigate RenRen and Weibo.

I've already started separating extensions (see the folder in the repo). So it's possible to build manually, but a web/command line build tool is on the todo list!

David, great work on this. I am trying to write a tutorial about it and, as part of the tutorial, wanted to show how you extend it by writing a reddit or dzone plugin but as there seems to be very little documentation on how to write extensions, I am starting to simply hit a wall. Any chance you can help out? (and when you have time document writing extensions - I think you'd have a lot of contributions if you did)

I'm starting to write a couple of extensions for Weibo/sina and Baidu here https://github.com/DylanFM/Socialite/. Will open a pull request when I've tested and deployed.
