After app start, press 'Scan for devices' button. Leave the other setting in their default state (IP: localhost). The process finishes rather too quickly and discovers, besides localhost, non-existing devices like: 127.0.0.3, 127.0.0.2, 127.0.0.4, etc.

Found on Linux: Suse 12.2

Changing the IP from localhost to a valid IP Address performs the scan correctly.

It seems to be a wireless network problem
