I would like to suggest adding an additional hud_fastswitch mode to allow "invprev" and "invnext" to cycle the available weapon slots without having to utilize the dropdowns for instant weapon switching regardless of method. I do believe this feature is mimicking a fast switch mode found in Source Engine titles.
This feature is included in [https://github.com/jovanlanik/halflife-classic], and I've used it exclusively for quite sometime. it is an excellent quality of life improvement that inadvertently helps individuals with slightly limited motor functions, I currently have "invprev" bound to "z" and "invnext" bound to "b" to effectively utilize this feature to cycle through my inventory I would hope to be able to experience BugfixedHL with this fastswitch mode in the near future.
