20231110215832_1 How to fix this

SoMudge commented 8 months ago

same bruh

tmp64 commented 8 months ago

@napimamk123 @SoMudge Please, post your system information and check if the issue still happens on latest game update (2023-11-30, build 9897).

The preferred and easiest way to get this information is from Steam's Hardware Information viewer
from the menu (Help -> System Information). Once your information appears: right-click within the dialog,
choose Select All, right-click again, and then choose Copy. Paste this information into your report,
preferably in a code block.

I'm using the previous build and after the last updates I've seen that too. It also colors the HUD first letter in white. Version used: 1.9.1-dev (HEAD.93443f8) image

@andreiseverin Please, do this: https://github.com/tmp64/BugfixedHL-Rebased/issues/179#issuecomment-1833535879

@tmp64 here you are

As for the latest build, I'm waiting for valve to fix all the bugs before using the new build because I don't want to recopy BHL after every update.

Looks like this only happens on Radeon RX 6000 so it's most likely an AMD driver bug. I'll see if it happens on Vega 8 and RX 560 on my laptop.

@andreiseverin @napimamk123 @SoMudge @ItsNeverLight It seems that downgrading the driver helps

andreiseverin commented 8 months ago

Good to know from where it comes from. It doesn't bother me at all. As for the crosshair, players can use a custom one that's not HUD linked. Downgrading the driver could pose problems in other games like cs2.
