Instead of running *.tmux files (https://github.com/tmux-plugins/tpm/blob/c8ac32a085d382c43190bda4fb5972e531f501fd/scripts/source_plugins.sh#L24), what about providing an additional method to source-file them (or another file, e.g. *.tmuxtpm) instead - if that is possible?

I've just noticed that this might be beneficial in general, e.g. with https://github.com/christoomey/vim-tmux-navigator/blob/2fc1ed42ab580ab47c506ab0bef09f1dbb9ff04d/vim-tmux-navigator.tmux.
