Android 2.2 Stock Browser can't share links with Google-TV #1

++What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using Stock Android 2.2 Browser on my HTC Thunderbolt, open a web pgae
2. Access the menu to use the "Share Page" functionality.
3. Share with the "Google TV Remote" App
++Result:
Google TV Remote gains focus, but displays the error message: "Could not send 
because this was not a valid url."

++What is the expected output? 
Expected output would have been the chrome browser opening on the tv and 
displaying the current web page.

Sharing pages with other apps (including Gmail) work without a problem.

++What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Remote 1.0 on Froyo, 2.2, on a stock HTC Thunderbolt (Sense modificaitons)

I'm running a 3rd party ROM and have the exact same problem with ALL pages I've 
tried to share.
