I find that keeping my template files with an '.html' extension can get pretty confusing quickly. I like distinguishing Handlebars templates with the '.hbs' extension.
I'll submit a PR with a quick change that allows this plugin to use '.hbs' files for templates and partials. I hope you'll consider merging it. Thanks!
