Although reliability hasn't had it supposed mechanical effect (of random % annual failures in ships), there are still vestiges of reliability in the ship design. For example, the safety/performance warp core setting.
So either reliability should be completely removed along with that safety/performance setting, or it should be computed and shown.
I think that reliability could still remain, but only as a requirement at the ship design level, rather than having any annual mechanical effect, e.g. Starfleet ships requiring at least 97% reliability.
