Emoji is filled in by Stroke at least on iOS 9.1 but I haven't tried other versions.

Haven't encountered and thought of Emojis yet. :grin: But I'm afraid that I can't do anything about it, because THLabel doesn't work on a per-character basis. Not sure if that's even possible in a reasonable manner.
