It seems the system issues false positive landout msgs, ie it determines a flight has landed out of of the limits of the home airfield when it hasn't. It does correctly issue positive landout msgs. False positives may be due to using input from multiple Flarm base stations, but if so it is not at this time clear why it has this effect.
