Creating new user in chrome on mac doesn't work #164

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use chrome on mac, go to test server
2. type in name/pw that doesn't already exist
3. click log in 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Should get message prompting to create new user, instead nothing happens at all 
(as if button was not clicked).

If entering an already existing name, it moves correctly to challenge selection.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
