when the “home” (and Workbench) should send indicators.
Possible actions:
-> home
-> first login:
- Login
- Register
- Create new grou
- Set group name
- Select challenge
- (open Demo version)
- Select Planning tool map
-> home:
- Chat message sent
- Login party member (left side of home, after one user already logged in
he can add further party members to his group (party members: users logged in
on same computer)
- Set teamname / switch group (left side of home)
- Open tool
- Help button
- Logout
-> Workbench
- upload document
- download document
Please let me know which actions should produce an indicator in the analysis
channel. Those indicators would be sent from the application itself (home,
workbench), not an AI application.

My first idea would be:
- Login
- Select challenge
- Select Planning tool map
-** Select Group (not included in original list, but important)
-** Create Planning map (see issue #66)
- chat message sent (including text with id as referable object)
- Log in part member (same message as "Login" above?)
- Switch group (same as "select group" above?)
- Open tool (property with which tool, maybe ref. object with URL?)
- Help button (poss. with tools that are open, and tool currently in viewed
tab, per previous discussions)?
-upload document (w/ referable object with ref. URL of document)
-download document (w/ referable object with ref. URL of document)
These are my first ideas. Obviously, some are more work than others, and we
can settle for simple first and improve functionality over time. Specifically,
including objects is really great, and if possible should be done asap, but if
it is hard, it can be added gradually.
Finally, just to justify why I left out:
- Register
- Create new grou
- Set group name
- Select challenge
To me, these seem like administrative tasks that sit outside a given
"challenge" in Metafora, and so I don't see them as something the analysis
needs to take into consideration when monitoring students workflow.

After discussions the home is sending an indicator by:
- login
- logout
- group switch
- help request
- chat message
- opening referable object in chat
