1 month ago Following up on this one. It appears that part of the problem is with the way the map is implemented. At the time the FCMU received its destination payout, it looks like there is a WER token blocking the path. But a review of the game log suggests that the WER token is not actually there, until the WER floats.
Further complicating this issue, the game rules do not appear to say anywhere in them whether the WER's token is placed when it floats, or when it operates.
So two things need to be done:
- Clarify somehow (talk to the designer?) whether home tokens go down on float or on the first operation.
- If they go on the first operation, then fix the map so that it doesn't look like there's a home token there when there really isn't.

The FCMU received its destination payout as soon as it operated. However, the FCMU's path to its destination is blocked by other companies' tokens.
The rules state:
The first time, during its own turn, that a company can trace a run with an infinite train from home token to destination city, the company gets an additional 5 times its par value from the bank (If floated before nationalization). Remove the Destination coaster from the charter afterwards to indicate that this company’s destination has been reached and therefore is fully capitalized.
It thus seems that a token should prevent the destination from being completed.
