Cleanups for server #54

I had these left over from after working on #38 and never got around to sending them as a PR.

I've also figured out how to embed all the HTML in the binary so we the --document_root option is gone. That's very exciting to me because I could never figure out a good way to distribute your awesome HTML additions in the releases.
