Hi Daniel, Please try and run v1.94 of Blink1Control, just released yesterday. https://github.com/todbot/blink1/releases/
If that doesn't work, is the blink(1) even detected by the OS? You can list USB devices by going to "About this Mac.." / "System Report" and then click on "USB" to see a list of USB devices. If it's not showing up there, then either the blink(1) isn't really plugged in (bad cable) or the blink(1) itself is busted (in which case we can arrange a replacement)
Closing this issue as I suspect now it may be a hardware fault, maybe even with the blink(1). If this is still happening to you, email us at blink1 at thingm.com and we'll arrange a replacement.
I have been using my blink(1) mk2 for a while now with no issues? I've upgraded my mac to Yosemite and have noticed that the BlinkControl app now indicates it's status as "no blink(1) found". I updated to the latest version of the BlinkControler thinking that would resolve it, but no luck. The unit is plugged in directly to my mac through the goose neck cable that came with the Kickstarter package. The unit is cycling through random colors, so the unit is functioning, its just not getting recognized. Not sure what to do?
