Can't create a domain cookie #41

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a cookie
2. Domain = .anysite.com
3. Save cookie

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect for the cookie to be saved as a ".anysite.com cookie", but
it appears to be saved as "anysite.com cookie"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
.8

Please provide any additional information below.

We ran into this issue on version 0.8 when working with a tracking system on a
multiple sub-domain website.

The missing leading "." in the domain is critical when working with
sub-domains, as
test.website.com will not read a cookie that's been assigned to website.com
(without
the leading ".")

Will this be fixed soon?

Could you please try Firecookie 0.9b3
http://www.janodvarko.cz/firecookie/archive/

It seems to be working for me in this version.
